Faeries
Certain levels have blue things which resemble comets with a tail that fly around. They are called "Faeries" and they usually initiate a battle. However, sometimes there are special ones that make your health 100/100. However, both types look alike.
If you are low on cards or just like to get items, follow the Blue Faeries. Follow, and do not catch them. Almost always, they will lead you to a treasure chest, hidden switches, or sometimes your objective.
