Cheat gnome:
After pausing the game by pushing Start, rapidly push Down, L, Z, R, Left, Right. You will hear a Sim voice if you have entered the code correctly. A blue gnome should appear near the house that your Sim is at. Your Sim will get a phone call each day to receive Simoleons. This will occur when visiting another house, with the exception of your Mom's. In order to get the Simoleons there, force the Sim that is hosting you as a visitor to answer the phone by walking near it.
